Dr. Bhanwar Lal Puniya is a computational biologist currently working as a research assistant professor at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India, and an M.Sc. in Microbiology from the University of Rajasthan. Specializing in computational and systems biology and bioinformatics, he has extensive research experience in biological data, immune system modeling, metabolic network analysis, and drug discovery. He is passionate about exploring immunometabolism for drug discovery against hard-treat-complex diseases. He actively publishes in high-impact journals while mentoring other researchers and conducting research on the human immune system.
